Introduction to Windows 10
This class provides an understanding of the brand new version of Windows. In this hands-on class, learn how to use the Windows 10 desktop, work with files and new folders and applications. Use the new start menu, help, search and much more. Computer Kindergarten, 1st Grade or equivalent.

Setting Up Your New Windows 10 Computer
In this hands-on class, you will learn how to set up your new computer to enhance your work environment. Learn how to create tiles, icons and folders on the start screen and desktop, get apps from the store, use display properties, put files where you need them, understand drives, folders and files, set up and install new programs, remove apps and programs you do not want, use Windows Help, and much more. Prerequisite: Computer Kindergarten, 1st Grade™ or equivalent. Comfort with your Windows 8 computer.

Organize Your Windows 10 Computer
This class provides an understanding of the Windows 10 file management structure including drives, folders and files. Create folders, copy and move files, and delete folders and files. Understand the Windows Desktop, create shortcuts, work with backgrounds, the Recycle Bin and much more.


Your Computer: The Possibilities: In this hands-on 4 series class, you will learn how to use your computer to accomplish some of the most popular applications for home use.  Prerequisites: Computer Kindergarten® and Computer 1st Grade™ or equivalent.

Session 1: Learn how to write a letter, create a newsletter and make a flyer or sign.  Work with and edit text, lay out a letter, format text and work with graphics.

Session 2: Manage your personal finances: learn how to create a check register and format for a bank reconciliation, keep track of investments and expenses and create a simple database.

Session 3: Understand and use Email:  learn how to send, receive and forward email, create and use the address book, download and attach files, and more.

Session 4: Learn how to edit the pictures you receive, such as changing size, cropping, adjusting brightness, removing red eye, printing and more.

Make Your Computer Work for You
Learn how to add and remove programs, erase old files, check available computer space, get help from your computer, create shortcuts and many more things that will make your computer work for you. Prerequisites:  Computer Kindergarten for Grownups and Computer 1st Grade for Grownups or equivalent.


Customize Your Computer
Hands on! Learn how to customize your computer so that it works most efficiently for the way you work. Create shortcuts for frequently used programs and your favorite websites. Put important files where they are most accessible, hard to find files will be a thing of the past.  Set up visual effects that work best for you, and much more. Prerequisites:  Computer Kindergarten for Grownups and Computer 1st Grade for Grownups or equivalent.
